All CRNAs and RNs: $525 or $275 daily
Porcine Wet Lab: $75 for CRNAs & $30 for SRNAs (Saturday 3:30 p.m., Open to the first 50 Registrants)
Join us for this hands-on session designed for intentional sim and prosecution of terminal difficult airway algorithm – surgical airway/cricothyrotomy in biologicals. This opportunity provides invaluable psycho-motor experience specific to low-incidence, high-acuity life-threatening CICV (can’t intubate, can’t ventilate) clinical scenarios. All supplies/disposables/specimens are provided by the course.
SRNAs: $200 or $125 daily

Virtual Tuition
All CRNAs and RNs: $400 or $200 daily
SRNAs: $100 or $50 daily

August 30, 2024: All rates increase by $25 per day.

Cancellations:
Prior to October 1, 2024: Refund less $100 cancellation fee.

Faculty Bios

Kristi Hoch, DNP, CRNA
Dr. Kristie Hoch is the Program Administrator for the University of Arizona’s DNP-Nurse Anesthesia program. She chose to become a CRNA after serving with them in the Desert Storm.

Kristie has years of experience as a CRNA in every practice model and setting, to include office based, critical access, academic teaching hospitals, and trauma centers. She has served as the Rural Facilities Director and Recruiter for an all CRNA company prior to becoming an educator. She chose to become an educator to influence the future of the profession she loves by ensuring students are prepared to provide anesthesia incorporating evidence-based practice. She is a strong advocate for CRNAs.

Kevin Henson, DNP, CRNA
Kevin’s nursing career spans 30 years. From bedside nursing in the 1990s at R1 teaching hospitals to senior director of surgical & anesthesia services within Joint Commission hospitals & ACS’s, Dr. Henson has achieved the highest national awards in safety, provider engagement & clinical excellence.

Kevin is currently the president of Henson Anesthesia Partners International providing national CE lectures, anesthesia staffing across the United States, and perisurgical support to Zambia, Africa in association with the World Medical Mission.

Jon Lowrance, MSN, CRNA
Jon Lowrance is the chief CRNA at Maine Medical Center, Maine’s only level one trauma center. He also produces the podcast Anesthesia Guidebook… the go-to guide for anesthesia providers who want to master their craft.

Jon’s professional background started in experimental education and wilderness medicine, having served as faculty with Landmark Learning and NOLS Wilderness Medicine. He completed his BSN at Saint Louis University and his Master of Science in anesthesiology at Western Carolina University.

He has served as clinical & simulation faculty with the University of New England’s nurse anesthesia program, the SRNA Clinical Coordinator at MMC and on MMC’s Medical Executive Committee. He currently serves on the Maine Association of Nurse Anesthesiology’s board of directors and is working towards a PhD in organizational leadership. His research is focused on how leadership, human factors, and systems engineering can improve outcomes in perioperative emergencies. Jon’s passion is helping healthcare providers thrive on the path toward mastering their craft.

Tina Moring, CRNA, APRN, MSN
Tina Moring, CRNA has been a part of the anesthesia profession since 2011. She is a graduate of UNE and has been at Central Maine Medical Center for over 20 years. Tina is the chief at CMMC and was present the evening of the mass shooting. Tina enjoys time with her husband Bruce, her 3 children and her animals. Her favorite hobbies are running and gardening. Please join Tina and her colleagues while they discuss the events of October 2023, however keep in mind the families most affected and pray for their healing.

Megan Carrier, MSNA, APRN, CRNA
Megan Carrier, CRNA has been practicing anesthesia for the last 3 years as a member of the Central Maine Medical Center anesthesia department. Megan graduated with her Masters in Anesthesia from the University of New England in 2021 and is the current clinical coordinator for Nurse Anesthesia Students at CMMC. She was present the evening of the Mass shooting.

Megan was born and raised in Maine and moved to Lewiston, her husband’s hometown, when she started her anesthesia program. As a new mom she spends most of her free time chasing around her 1 year old son and spending time with her husband and rescue pug Stevie.

Erin Foley, DNAP, MSNA, CRNA, FAANA
Dr. Foley currently serves as the Region 6 Director of the AANA. She practices clinically as a locum CRNA and is the owner of Foley Anesthesia, PLLC. Beyond her clinical practice, she is an advocate, leader, mentor, and educator dedicated to protecting and promoting CRNA practice. Dr. Foley has previously served as the MEANA State President, on several AANA committees, and as the AANA Leadership Identification Committee Chair. In her personal life, Dr. Foley has a Basset Hound named Agatha “Aggie” Hodgins.
